Tamondong of TSU CCS tops 1st Place in Digital Art Competition for AKAP 2023

In Celebration of World Mental Health, the TSU Guidance and Counseling Unit organized AKAP with a global theme: "Mental Health is a Universal Right." Brigitte Tamondong of Tarlac State University - College of Computer Studies secured the 1st place in the Digital Art Competition on October 27, 2023. 

On October 17, the TSU Guidance and Counseling Unit hosted AKAP, which featured various competitions, including painting and digital art competitions. 

In the Digital Art Competition, Brigitte Tamondong claimed the top spot, while Ma. Antonette Devera of CAFA came in second place, and Marc Gabrielle Sirbough of CASS took the 3rd place. 

The Digital Art Competition was assessed using the following criteria: originality (30%), creativity and uniqueness (40%), and relevance to the theme (30%), totaling 100% in grading criteria.  

Brigitte's artwork is characterized by vibrant colors that symbolize positivity and a mind resembling a rainbow, conveying her empathy for others through her art. In an interview, she expressed, "Because sometimes we don't notice how much someone feels unless they talk about it and let it out themselves.”
