COEd summa cum laude grad notches 10th place in LEPT

Again, Tarlac State University produced a topnotcher in the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers, particularly in the elementary level.

Mikaela P. Millo, a summa cum laude graduate from the College of Education last July 2022, is one of the 30 top ten passers in the September 2023 LEPT elementary level after reaching a rating of 92.60%.

Millo completed a bachelor's degree in elementary education with a 1.24 general weighted average.

Joining the TSUian topnotcher in the LEPT elementary level are 55 first-time takers garnering a passing rate of 86.49%. The institutional passing rate is 57.14% against the national passing rate of 47.01%.

Meanwhile, TSU also recorded a high first-time taker passing rate of 75.21% in the secondary level, with an institutional passing rate of 57.21%, equivalent to 262 new licensed professional teachers. The national passing percentage is 56.27.
